Mom-in-waiting

It’s interesting how we all age and grow into different people through the process of time passing. It’s even more interesting how you can have a friend when you are young – I’m talking like young elementary age – and as you both age, you stay in touch and can still randomly connect and just seem to pick up right where you left off.

This is the case with my friend Amanda. We may go years in between talking, but when we happen to get together, I still feel like we are right there on the same page-with hardly anything changing (when clearly there has been plenty of changes happening in our lives!). It’s so good to have friends that you can so easily relate to, even when time and space may separate you.

Those friends are like cozy sweaters that just slip right over you, allowing you to relax and just be.

I so enjoyed photographing Amanda and her beautiful baby bump, she made it easy to get lovely photos! And her little guy is sure to make a great big brother!
