Most of my photography sessions usually involve newborn babies, high school seniors, and families, so professional headshots aren’t something I photograph very often. Recently, though, I had the chance to switch things up with a headshot photography session for someone starting a new adventure in voice-over work—my mother-in-law!
She needed updated professional headshots for her website, so we focused on keeping the session simple with clean backgrounds, soft light, and natural expressions. My goal with any session—whether it’s family portraits, senior photos, newborn photography, or headshots—is to help people feel comfortable so their personality shines through.
It was fun stepping outside my usual sessions and creating personal branding headshots to help launch her new voice-over business. I’m glad I could help create the professional branding photos she needed to get started.
